Welcome to the CHWN Library 

The CHWN library is a searchable online database of published and grey literature on all matters related to health workforce within and concerning Canada. Both regulated and unregulated health care workers/professions are included. The library has been created to help provide access to the latest health workforce information and evidence on innovative approaches to health workforce development, training, financing, regulation, recruitment and retention.  

The Library has both a Basic and Advanced Search function. You can enter author, health worker group or subject/theme in search terms in the Basic Search box or use the Advanced Search page to build a more detailed search strategy by author, year, title, abstract, journal, subject/theme, health worker group, Sector/Setting, Method/Tool, Geography or Document Type.

The CHWN Library is a work in progress with new references being added at regular intervals. Included references are from the year 2000 to the present.
