The aim of the directory is the maintenance of a publicly searchable listing of psychologists who are practicing in Alberta, which is intended to be used by the public to verify the professional status of individuals.
The data, which appears current and accurate, could be used to determine current supply of psychologists in Alberta, as well as to determine number of provisional psychologists in the province. It is obtained through registration, which is mandatory for all psychologists.
