The shelter at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University Central Thailand
At the peak of the flooding, five hospitals in Nakhon Pathom province were not able to provide services.
The Faculty of Nursing, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University urgently setup systems including a field hospital, organised health volunteers, primary health care services, a 24 h clinic and referral systems.

Nursing students and lecturers of the Faculty of Nursing at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University were stand by for nursing care. Nurses came in from some of the closed hospitals and from hospitals in neighboring jurisdictions. Volunteer doctors provided services, as well as sourcing doctors from neighboring regions (on weekly rotation).

Nursing students staffed the field tent as part of their training program at the nursing school.

Nursing students and regional volunteers performed home wellness visits to do health promotion.
