Increased Access - National Certification Exam for Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLT, MLA)
COVID19 upset public gatherings and ability to deploy high stakes exams.
Working with our computer based testing vendor, CSMLS was able to prepare to launch Remote Proctoring for the exam, allowing candidates to stay at home, in a monitored environment, to complete the exams - needed for licensure.

The CSMLS is the national certifying body for medical laboratory technologists (regulated for the most part in Canada) and medical laboratory assistants (unregulated). COVID-19 samples are processed by laboratory staff across Canada, and a the largest number of new market entrants happens through examination in June.
