Telemedicine for Diabetes Care in India
COVID-19 Pandemic related travel restrictions make face-to-face visits and consultations difficult for diabetic patients, which can lead to poor glycemic control and worsening of complications and co-morbid conditions.
Telemedicine is proposed for continued management of diabetic patients during the lockdown.

Many patients in India were elderly and uneducated, without the technical skills required to navigate complex communication platforms.
