Sustaining Nursing in Canada: a set of coordinated evidence-based solutions targeted to support the nursing workforce now and into the future
the Canadian nursing workforce is facing a number of complex challenges, including the lack of access to continuing education.
The nursing education initiative (NEI) is an Ontarian promising strategy designed to provide all nurses access to continuing education and professional development opportunities. the NEI allows nurses to reimburse their tuition fees related to their registration for different activities, including courses, conferences, seminars as well as workshops that they would like to attend to improve their knowledge and skills.
