Sustaining the Canadian Nursing Workforce: Targeted Evidence-Based Reactive Solutions in Response to the Ongoing Crisis
Many Canadian nurses left their positions due to poor work conditions and incivility in their workplaces. To foster their return to the workforce, we need to implement innovative promising solutions such the Magnet-like accreditation program.
The Magnet-like Accreditation Program is the gold standard for excellence in nursing practice. This strategy was initiated in Unite-States and characterized by effective nursing leadership, shared governance, caring interpersonal relationships and professional development opportunities, along with staffing and resource adequacy.
